Sit the growth, do not skip it
AFK in a bush if the area is safe. Walking in circles burns hunger. Growth ticks while you exist, not while you sprint.
Log out in cover. Open-field logs are a gift to nocturnal hunters.
Adults still starve
Apex dinos need bigger meals. Migrate with the herds instead of camping an empty lake. The Isle population moves.
If you cannot find food in twenty minutes, you picked a dead biome. Move before the hunger bar makes the choice for you.
