White light is worse. If you must use it, check a room and kill it. Holding a flashlight in a field is a death.
Move slower than you want
Audio carries. Night AI still shoots. Treat every compound as occupied until you have a picture.
Extracts are darker and more camped because people feel brave. Approach from the odd trail.
Bring the batteries
Dead NVGs in a night raid is a walk of shame. Pack power. Gray Zone Warfare logistics is the game.
If weather and night stack, skip the quest and live. A failed night raid still costs the kit.
