Fortnite Reboots: Get Up Without Feeding the Lobby

Fortnite reboot vans are a second chance and a beacon. The van fight is often harder than the first death.

Clear first, then hold interact

If the van is in the open, wait for a rotate or a storm tick. Rebooting into two teams is a 1v6 with extra steps.

One player reboots. One watches. If you all stare at the progress bar, a spray from a hill ends the comeback.

The rebooted player needs a gun now

Drop a weapon and mats immediately. A pickaxe reboot is a second death. Fortnite comebacks fail on loot selfishness.

Do not send them to a far POI for a chest. Play for the next zone together.

Third parties love vans

After a reboot, leave. The lobby heard the audio. Heal on the move. Sitting at the van is a highlight for someone else.

If storm is close, reboot only if the van is in zone. A successful reboot that dies in gas is still a loss.
