Dead by Daylight
Dead by Daylight: Hear the Radius Before You See the Killer
Dead by Daylight loops die when survivors wait for a red stain. The heartbeat is the real timer.
Leave the gen on the first spike
A rising heartbeat means the killer is already in the chunk. Finishing 98% while they vault is how you get tunneled off a dead zone.
Pre-drop a pallet only if the tile is a dead-end. Otherwise run the window first so the pallet still exists for the second chase.
Scratch marks lie if you fake them
Hold walk around a jungle gym if you want the killer to overcommit to a vault. Sprinting the whole loop paints a highway.
Killers who respect mindgames still check lockers after a loud noise. Do not hide in the same locker twice in one trial.
Three-gen is a team problem
Do not start a new gen that sits next to two unfinished ones. Rotate across the map even if the closer gen looks free.
If a teammate is already on a three-gen, leave. Dead by Daylight endgames collapse when everyone greed-repairs the same corner.
